It's almost time for our annual Founders' Day Worship service!
Do you know of someone in our community who has made or is currently making a significant impact?
Think you’ve never experienced a miracle? With all due respect, you have never not. The truth is, most of us take everyday miracles for granted. This series will teach us to take them for gratitude.
In A Million Little Miracles, we will learn three miraculous truths:
1. God Is Bigger Than We Think—we can rest in His wisdom and strength
2. God Is Closer Than We Realize—we never have to do life alone
3. God Is Better Than We Imagine—we can reclaim our childlike wonder
A million little miracles are waiting to be discovered, including the miracle called you.
The point of using dummy text for your paragraph is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters. making it look like readable English.
Set your alarm to join us on DialPad Meetings (CALL: 804-203-9011) every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:00 AM. Pastor Nelson shares a devotional, any pertinent announcements and closes with prayer. If you want DialPad Meetings to call you at 7:00 AM on Tuesday and Thursday, complete the "Prayer Requests & DialPad Calls" form.
Consider the PRAY Method
There are many helpful methods to assist you in establishing a practice of prayer. The PRAY method is a framework that incorporates the principles the Women's Church School class learned in our Stronger than Stress Bible Study.
You can follow this method by praying aloud or writing in a prayer journal.
P—Praise: Begin with centering on God by remembering Who God is, God's eternal plan, and God's faithfulness.
R—Repent/Recall: Tell God about your struggles, sin, and anything else on your heart. Ask for forgiveness and for God’s help to turn toward God and away from wrong attitudes or behaviors. Don't just beat yourself up, recall who God created you to be (good creation, chosen generation, etc).
A—Ask: Make your requests known to God. Tell God about everything, big and small. God can handle them all!
Y—“Yes, God”: Yield to God’s sovereignty and eternal plan. This is where you follow Jesus’ example of praying “I want your will to be done, not mine.” Affirm that you trust God no matter what happens.
